SubRon 8 - Fun-Run - September 10, 2005

SubRon 8 is will be holding its first annual Fun – Run on September 10, 2005. This event will be held at Mendon Ponds Park, located just south of Rochester, New York. Site location will be at the Canfieldwoods Shelter next to the 100 Acre pond.

A very successful event took



A very successful event took place today at our 1st Annual "Fun-Run". We had a great turnout, lots of great looking subs, good food and great people !

Many thanks to everyone in Sub Ron 8 for making this event a very enjoyable day...

Besides stepping in the goose

Besides stepping in the goose poop around the pond I had a great time seeing the many subs run, talking to everyone about what they had built and even got the opportunity to run a couple of subs for the first time. Man, what a treat that was...There were also a few targets running around that caught my eye too!

For someone that is new to this hobby, getting together with your group is a must. Emailing is just not the same as human contact. Just a simple get together can bring your group closer in friendship and open the doors to a great hobby...
