SubRegatta '04 Pics... - Where are they?

I'm surprised that no one has submitted any pictures of the last subregatta for everyone to enjoy!

Members can upload them themselves by simply clicking on the "photos" button at the top of your page after you log in to the website (www.subcommittee.com).

Non-members can still submit their pictures! Just email them to the webmaster at webmaster@subcommittee.com and I'll get them put up right away.

Come on, people! Share your photos! That's what the new site is for!

      Is there a faster way

Is there a faster way (like a subcomm ftp)? My pics are all ~2 meg each. Uploading to the site takes a while even with a broadband connection.

        use a program like ACDsee

use a program like ACDsee (or another) to resize your pics, its what I do with high res pics from my camera. After the resizing they weight about 50 to 100 Kb.

          Or put them on a

Or put them on a CD and snail mail them to Bob Martin the SC webmaster. He can reduce them to the optimum size to go on the SC site. His address is in the CANADA section of the SC directory. Just do it, eh!

In the old days - many of us experienced the frustration of sending photos over and over again and never seeing them posted. That is one of the reasons I started my own site. This is a NEW DAY! As you have seen - Bob takes care of stuff right away and does a great job.

The only way this will continue to be a good website is if SubCommittee MEMBERS supply the content! No griping if you don't contribute.

As I wasnt' able to attend the Regatta this year, I was wondering if someone could possibly tell me what sub hull is in the left side of this picture? Is this an original design, or a reproduction of a TV or movie sub?

              Looks cool!!!

I believe that was a picture I submitted of Rick Tesky's table of goodies. As I remember, it was a wood plug.

I just added 3 photos taken at the SubRegatta, by my on-board wireless video camera, to my web site]http://groups.msn.com/ArtBrodersmodels/lassn751sanjuan.msnw?Page=Last[/url]
The first is a pic of Ray Mason and myself on the beach. The second is a picture of Ray bending down to take an underwater shot of my sub as it is taking a picture of him. The third picture, although fuzzy, is unique. It is an underwater view of Ray's camera, taking an underwater shot of my camera on the sub! Enjoy.

Rick my friend, Are you going to use a water jet like you have in the flying sub, or a unit like the Seawolf has? It was great to see you again at the regatta. Dave.
