I just got in from the Sub Ron in Rhode Island.
I had a great time,meet a lot of people,learned a lot.
Also, I want to say thanks to the people who put it together.
Good job!!
I have also just returned from the Rhode Island regatta, and agree with Wayne. This was the best one yet. Even the rain on Saturday couldn't dampen the mood or prevent the people from having a good time. It is always fun when you get together with this bunch of people.
Dave Welch premiered his new Turtle, and got lots of praise for the nice work, and how well it ran. The Outdoor Channel had a crew on Saturday filming and interviewing the members, so watch for the show when it comes out.
I just hope this isn't the last time for this regatta. This group of people put a lot of time and effort into this thing, and every year it has gotten better. Thanks again to Bill, Tony, and all the rest of the guys in the SubRon. Hope to see you all next year.
I got in late last night also, it was a great event, a little on the cold side, but hey what are you going to do? I got some good ideas and advice on how to finish my Alfa. It was fun, I can't wait till the next one.
