Notice to all attendees: I'll have a stack of the challenge coins and patches at Carmel. No need to send an envelope if you're attending, just pick them up on site!

This year Loyalhanna Dockyard has generously donated this great
screwdriver that has 8 interchangeable bits. The bits are
      self contained in the handle.

**Each registered Carmel Sub Captain will receive one of these in
      their goodie bag.

      Thank YOU Loyalhanna Dockyard!

A 4X could probably have been arranged if requested during the ordering window but unfortunately it is too late at this point as the window closed last week. Sorry for the inconvenience.

            That's ok Don, No worries

The weather is looking good for today, im going to be leaving the house shortly as i only live about hour and half away. Going to be conducting re certification sea trials after a refit on my neptune. I did a motor swap, had a new front clear endcap water jetted to accommodate the new blue robotics water tight connectors im going to be trying out for my two spot lights and a new face melting flood light lol. No more in the water quick disconnects.
Im also bringing 1 target, errr boat that had several issues last year and hopefully will pass its sea trials as well

Many thanks to Don Spielberger for his efforts and contributions to the raffle... i came home with a skipjack and power supply. Thanks to dave hampton for some reading material i received from him. And to everyone else who helped organize and run the event as there were many. Thanks to jim butt for the patch and coin as well. The weather was absolutely the best you could ask for in the 70's all weekend.
On a side note, the blue robotics water tight seals i posted earlier worked flawlessly and did not leak whatsoever.

Great seeing everyone and many thanks to everybody that helped out and contributed to the Funrun.
I put 3 boats in the water that hadn't been in years and got the Type VII wet for the first time, very rewarding. Here is a link to the pictures I took:

Thanks bob for always taking the time to take photos! When I click your link it takes me to the Amazon photo home page and says I haven’t uploaded anything yet, click here to start.

I changed the link to facebook. I don't think the Amazon one was allowing sharing.

I have a lifetime ban from Facebook so I would really appreciate it if the SC members would return home to this site now and then and post stuff like this.
                        Regards,

                        Matt

Carmel 2024 was a great Success. The weather was great,
a great turn out of Subs and Sub Captains. Rather than get
hung up here at this time with all the Thank You’s, Captain Choice
winners, U-Boat winner, we are going to post some pics.

We do not do FaceBook, but we are sure Bob’s pictures are great.

I will do a separate post that talks about the Fun Run and Thanks
to all who made this event great this year.

                          Here are some more pics.
