2021 CARMEL SUB FUN RUN August 14 – 15, 2021 HOTEL INFO:

We are once again pleased to announce Hotel reservations at the Hilton Garden Inn,
Carmel Indiana have been set up at a discounted group rate of $119 plus tax per
night for one King with a sofa bed or 2 queen beds. This rate is good from a check
in date of August 12th with a check out date of August 16th, 2021.

Haven't been for years, but the last time I went it was a very good event. It would be nice if they turned off the fountain though. Less wave action.

They have turned off the fountain every year except one (IIRC), when they forgot and they couldn't contact the guy with the access to the switch. They have it on during the day Friday, and then Saturday and Sunday nights, but that's it.

7th Annual 2021 Carmel R/C Submarine Fun Run INFO AUGUST 14 - 15, 2021

REGISTRATION: Cost Per Submariner participants is $15.
This Fee includes ID BADGE, Sub Model running privileges, Torpedo Plaque,
and UNDER the tent table space.

**A link for the 2021 Carmel Submariner pre-registration will be posted
in the near future.

FREQUENCY CONTROL: ALL SUBMARINERS must operate on the
legal 75 MHz, 27 MHz land frequencies. Amateurs using the radio control
model craft frequencies (6 meter), or 433 MHz must have a label
indicating the station call sign and the station licensee’s name and address
affixed to the station transmitter.

Please indicate your Frequency when you pre-register.
Any questions can also be answered at the morning Captain’s meeting.

RAFFLE: The Raffle will be held on Saturday and Sunday. Proceeds
from this raffle funds this event. Please see the posted 2021 Carmel Fun
Run Raffle post for a preview of some of the donated R/C model
goodies to be raffled off.

2021 CAPTAIN CHOICE Awards and Big Dave ENGINEERING Award:
All Carmel 2021 R/C Sub Run registered Sub Mariner Captains will vote for
their favorite R/C Submarine present at the Carmel 2021 R/C Sub Run.
(Captain Choice Award)

There will be a second ballot to select what each
registered Sub Mariner Captain believes is the best Engineered
R/C Submarine at the Fun Run.
(Captain Choice Big Dave’s ENGINEERING Award)

SATURDAY R/C LUNCH and LEARN TECH SESSION:
to be held under the tent. ***TBD

SWAP TABLE: We will again have a SWAP table for both
Saturday and Sunday. YOU are responsible for selling your own
gear. Mark it clearly with the price and your name so your potential
buyer can track you down.

PRE REGISTRATION & T-SHIRT, Lunch and Learn Ordering

REGISTRATION: Cost Per Submariner participants is $15.
(One time registration is good for both days of the Fun Run)

This Fee includes ID BADGE, Sub Model running privileges, Torpedo Plaque,
and under the tent table space. The registration Bag may also contain some
additional donated goodies.

ALL Model Submariners MUST be registered to participate at the event.
On Site registration will also be available.

PRE-Registering: Please indicate your TX Frequencies
so we might take care of any Radio Conflicts.

If you have any preferences for your name and or SubRon for your
ID Badge, please indicate this when you pre-register.



2021 CARMEL SUB FUN RUN T-SHIRT:



[SIZE=3]These shirts are high quality pre-shrunk 100% cotton.

This year the T-Shirt is yellow.

COST:
$18 for sizes M-XL
$23 for 2XL
$25 for 3XL

ALL T-SHIRT Orders must be received on or before July 25th, 2021.

NOTE: It is preferred that all T-SHIRT orders must be picked up at the event.

LUNCH and LEARN Box Lunch SATURDAY AUGUST 14, 2021:
We have a lunch planned for those that don't want to bring their own or
go out and get it.

The lunch will be a Firehouse sub deluxe box lunch that will be
delivered to the Carmel Reflecting Pond.

The details of the lunch are:
The deluxe box lunch contains two meats (Virginia honey ham and smoked turkey breast),
provolone cheese, lettuce, and tomato; Mayo and deli mustard on the side. The Box lunch
also comes with chips and a dill pickle.

Cost is $17.00 and this will cover the complete cost of the box lunch as described, tax,
delivery and a tip for the driver.

We will take orders up through Sunday August 8th. At that time the purchase button will be closed.
