Sub Fest 2019

Hi every one. Sub Fest 2019 is July 12th thru 14th. I will be hosting a meet and greet at my house again on Friday night. Brats and burgers and a lot of talking. Hope to see you all there.

Hi Jim, do you have an updated schedule of events for the Sub Fest?

I am going to be 5 hours away (Minneapolis) picking up my son from a Summer youth camp from church. What do you think the response will be if I ask "Honey, can we make a detour"?

We just returned from the 2019 SubFest in Manitowoc, Wisconsin.
This event is sponsored by the Manitowoc Maritime museum and like
last year, Tents tables and chairs were provided. Jim Smith again provided us
with a great pool to run the Subs in. Though the attendance was down for both
RC Submariners and foot traffic, we still had a great time running the subs
and were kept very busy on Saturday letting young Submariner Captains run the
subs.

On Sunday the Museum admission was lowered to 50 cents apiece which included
self guided tours of the Cobia. This is a great museum about Subs as well as boats
that have sailed on the great lakes. We had a great time operating a large Triple
Expansion Steam enginethat drove a very large prop on the other side of a wall.
