                2017 Carmel SUB FUN RUN INFO AUGUST 5 - 6, 2017

CLAIRIFICATION: It has been brought to our attention that in the past, the event
has had more registered Submariners than available tables. When this occurs,
                Submariners share their table space.

The above post it states that each registered Submariner will have one 8ft table
under the tent. This is true until we run out of tables.
Then we will have to play nice and share.

Curious since you did not mention 2.4 ghz radios will they be allowed?

                        Hi Scott,

Yes. Most surface craft uses that frequency band. We would appreciate running surface craft away from where subs are running to avoid collisions. More details to be announced at the Captains meeting held at the Carmel pond.

                          Don,

I know there are a few guys out there operating their subs on 2.4 ghz and a protruding antennae. Is it possible to make allowance for these boats if one might show up at the Funrun?
                          Regards,

                          Matt

                            Hi Matt,

Yes. Subs can use 2.4 GHz. They just have to be careful and make sure the antenna is clearly visible so others don't run them over.
