I forget who it was that was helping me at pond-side with the killer whale, it seemed to be jamming up occasionally in a hard turn. I got it apart, and your suspicions were correct, the servo had broken a gear tooth causing it to lock up. Replacement in and it is back to flipping its flippers happily again! Thanks!

I can see them all!
Big Dave, it is my desire to make it to Carmel one day. The tough part is it is right in the middle of me getting prepared for students (school starts next week for us) and I have given my crew blackout dates for vacation that I could not break without being a hypocrite. So one of two things will need to happen, I retire or if the date is earlier in the summer or later in the fall. Until that happens, I live vicariously through the videos, stories, and photos.
From what I can see, you guys did a great job and deserve a big kudos! If you can cut, drill, saw, hit things and swear a lot, you're well on the way to building a working model sub.

Hi, guys,
A big thanks to everyone who helped out at Carmel! I had a great time with everyone and some of my subs even ran well. Hope all can make it back next year, I'm sure I'll be there.
Here is a link to my pictures, get them posted on Facebook too:
