So, the PMPBA is hosting a run in Tualatin at the Tualatin commons on May 28th. Should be fun and the pond is huge.

    Do they allow subs?

Yeah, I already ask that. I guess there's a spot at the commons favored by the 'sub guys'. Now they keep asking me to join.

I will! Now, to just complete the sub before then... At any rate my Big U will most likely be making an appearance. I'd bring more, but two 4 foot boats is a car load.

Very nice indeed! Ralph thank you for the link!
If you can cut, drill, saw, hit things and swear a lot, you're well on the way to building a working model sub.

Just another reminder (as I clean my boat) that this run is this weekend.

We didn't get to many unfortunately, but that pond is perfect. On one side the bottom is sloped to allow shallow wading for launches and has 3 steps from the level walk way to the launch areas. There is also a protected launch area and most of the pond is a little over 3 feet deep. Let's put it this way, they had 5-6 1/48 battleships going around while smaller boats were around, AND a healthy fleet of sail boats on the other end, with room to spare. I'll post our 3 pics when I get a chance.

Not a complete picture of the pond, but a few pics. The liner is ours.
