Does anybody have the Gato/Balao E-Book produced by Floating Drydock? I've been considering purchasing it but was hoping that someone would give me some insight and thoughts of it first.
Thanks.
This is by far THE must have for building a fleetboat. There are a bunch of other books that are great to have as well but this is number one in my book.(PUN intended)
This is the one book that no U.S. fleetboat builder should be without. The book includes not only a good selection of detail photos of the various parts of the boats, but also some very good drawings that explain and show how parts of the boat were constructed.
The e-book version allows you to print the various images/drawings contained within, but does not appear to let you create a complete 'hardcopy' of the book. I've also noted a few new/extra drawings in the e-book that were not found in the original printed version of the book.
