floating drydock

a while back i purchased the gato balao plan book, from floating drydock to supplement the hard cover version i had and its great. i use photoshop on my mac and it works fine, along with this disk i also purchased the early gato class sub disk and i cannot open it with any of the software i have . do i need a special program to do so or is there a problem with the disk. i have tried contacting tom twice but have not gotten any reply. any help would be appreciated, neil

I have the same CDrom version of the Fleetboat plan book as well. It uses software from a company named iPERS (now VisualVision) to create the "electronic book".... and I believe that it only runs on a Windows PC......

The Gato CD from Floating Drydock has it's own reader. Just open the CD and double click on the *.exe file. It will ask you a few questiions and then open the file. I think Tom did this to protect his IP.
