    found this reference.
but it's a bit of a unicorn, that C38 flakzwilling

At the beginning of the war, the 20mm flak was the standard antiaircraft armament aboard U-boats. Later, twin (flakzwilling) and quadruple (flakvierling) configurations were installed. Finally it was further upgraded with the addition of the 37mm flak gun.

found one usable photo in a book, will post tomorrow.

Hi Jeff - I just joined The Subcommittee, following the purchase of an OTW Type VII from another hobbyist. I'll be starting a build thread, but in the meantime I'm gathering references etc. This photo shows the aft torpedo tube area looking very different than the OTW molding. I'm not sure I would even bother with this, but would like to hear your opinion. Thanks!
          Geoff

            Geoff,
Welcome! Glad you joined us! I am not seeing a photo. Would you try posting again?
            Peace,
            Tom
If you can cut, drill, saw, hit things and swear a lot, you're well on the way to building a working model sub.

              Hi Geoff,

              Welcome aboard!

You are correct in noting that the OTW Type VIIC does not show the aft torpedo tube. That photo that I posted is just about the only one I've ever seen and (so far) is the best one as well. I wouldn't be surprised if that photo wasn't known by the person who made the master for the OTW hull as otherwise it's a very well executed hull.

                Tom,

He's referring to the photo I upload as part of post #1 in this thread.
