Hello everyone I am new to the board even though I have been reading a lot here.
I recently started a resin aftermarket company called Lighthouse Models and our first release will be a 1/35th GATO conning tower with waterline hull. Similar to the Andrea U-Boat coning tower piece.
The master is about done and I am trying very hard to have the kit out by Christmas of this year.
I do need your help and feedback however. I would like to know anything you would care to see in a resin kit such as this from price to details. Again it is only the conning tower section, but if all goes well, maybe a full length water line in the spring.
The kit is based on the Silversides 236, hence my earlier questions about detail pics. I still need these along with blueprints for a 20mm Orkerlion.
Our second release will be the Wahoo, but I need some decent pics of a non-cut down conn. I do have the plans but need deatil shots of the bridge interior.
Again, I am asking for feedback and input ibnto this kit because at this scale I want to make it accurate or as accurate as is feasible. Since these are limited run resin kits, an idea of deman would be helpful in my gauaging the production runs.
Thank you all and I hope to have the company webiste up in a couple weeks.
