Hello ,
I mounted my gear drive setup on a lid from a cigar
box so the operation of the Gear Drive could be
seen in a series of photos .

I have plans to sell these units ready for installation into
your scale of Fleet sub . The unit on the gear drive page
should fit into a 1/48 scale sub without any problems .
I have refined this unit since the first unit was built , the
bow planes support shafts are removable and the shafts
are designed so they will fit your bow fins or I can make
bow fins for your sub .
If your sub needs a unit made special because you have
torpedo tubes or for some other reason , contact me and
I will build you a unit to your specs and make sure it works.
The servo support bracket in the photo fits a Futabe S3003
but I can make a support to fit any servo .
The unit cost will be $110.00 plus $8.00 S&H.
At this price you supply the bow fins,servos,universal joint
and drive shaft assembly for the gear drive unit .
