Pete,
i don't know if this helps any...
it was "barnstormer boats" that made/sold the 80"+ type II... and their website http://www.barnstormerboats.com no longer exists.
i did find a link to rcuniverse when the owner announced the availability of the model...
http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/rc-subm ... s-com.html
I also remember that Dave Hampton in Indiana? has a large Vesikko (type II predecessor) , i believe his is scratch-built, but you might want to PM him to make sure.
sheerline makes or made a 1]http://sheerlinemodelsubmarines.com/[/url] they do not currently list the type IID on their site, however.

I have one of each hull, Barnstormer's-which I have done nothing with-80" loa. I recently picked up a 'partially started' Sheerline Type II, but it needs much work and several new parts. Chris discontinued the Type II from his line, and has been ill for some time, according to the website, so I haven't been able to get the new parts. He will make them for me and at one time did have some 'seconds' hulls but unknown if he has them now.

The big Barnstormer hull and conning tower I would let go. Shipping would probably have to be by Greyhound, if they will accept an 85" long box. You can email me for more info michael42kf@gmail.com
