For Sale - German U-Boat 1/24 Scale Type XXIII
57" Long , 5 1/2" Wide

Jeff Jones built this many years ago. I have had it on the shelf, and have not taken it into the water. It is a gas system. Servos are installed. Stand included. Transmitter, receiver, and batteries not included. Pictures do not do this boat justice. It is a beautiful model.

I am accepting offers from this forum to try and sell it here, before placing it on ebay. Serious offers only please.

hey guys, this is one of the subs I had built, it is a propel system gas ballast tank. It did run great and the battery would last well over an hr. on a charge with the motor and gear reduction set up. I built it from Craig O'Neils plans. good luck. Jeff Jones

one last note, the motor is a Dumas 6 volt, 3:1 reduction, and a subtech ballast system, propel. Lexan bulkheads, lexan rudder and diveplanes. The prop on the back is also a Duams 3 blade almost scale for this boat. I had built it right before OTW came out with theirs. The top of the hull is held down with a single bollard screw up front. This was my 3rd rc sub and first scratch build. Just wanted to help the guy out here wanting to sell it. It took about a year and a half to build. Jeff Jones
