Mcleod Oscar II kit - BRAND NEW

I hate to do it, but through luck and some hunting I managed to get an Engel MasterScale Typhoon enroute to me. With that project on the way, I'm going to sacrifice my Oscar II kit that I was really looking forward to building.

The kit is 100% complete and as-shipped from the manufacturer. Includes all fittings and appendages along with your props. Full diagrams and drawings of the boat are also included.

This is a terrific kit with amazing scribed details in the hull. If you're after an impressive Russian boat with demanding presence on the water, this is for you!

Paid $600. Will sell for $500 shipped in the US. International buyers are welcome, and shipping costs can be negotiated.

Payment by certified check, money order, or preferably via PayPal.

If you need a WTC for it, I do have a D&E 3.5MOD2 that I could sell. My thoughts are that the ballast tank is going to be a tad on the small side, but that is easy to modify if you needed to. I'd take $400 for the WTC. Its brand new, never used.

    Thanks for looking!

Bob, your workbench is far too clean and tidy, I could eat my dinner off that!

        Hi Bob,

With respect to your concerns about the ballast tank size on the D&E 3.5" mod 2 there's nothing to worry about. Even with all the extra mast and door mechanics on my OSCAR (read into that extra above waterline weight) I still had to cut my WTC volume back from the standard 15" to 13" to get mine to transition from scale surface trim to dive correctly. It's a big hull, but the above-waterline portions were deliberately layed up light to keep the ballast tank requirements to a minimum.

        Good luck with your sale!

Thanks, Kevin! That's great to know!

Al, I'd hate to let the WTC go and then have a buyer that needed one. Can you hold off until I get this gone?

If it doesn't go in the next week or so, I'll probably just hold onto it and build it up when I get the chance. It a beautiful boat!

I still have it! I've also got a different kit of this boat in the same scale. It's a bit rougher round the edges, but I'll let it go for $350 shipped!
