No luck on Ebay. Back on Sub Swap. $1500 Completely assembled and fully functional, ready to run, fiberglass, 1:48 scale radio controlled model of the USS BARBEL (SS-580). This model is nearly five feet long and weighs about 25 lbs.
Automatic pitch and depth control. R-134a gas ballast system. Will blow ballast on command or on loss of radio signal. Full angle, directional and speed control. Cans of R134a auto refrigerant gas for the ballast system are available at most auto parts stores. Includes a 6 channel Futuba radio (Surface Frequency), all servos, propulsion and radio battery charger as well as scale drawing, schematics, a spare battery, prop, float switches, etc.
