    3.0-R V3 Prototype

What I am selling is my V3 prototype (3.0-R cylinder), which is the third of three of these cylinders that I have built. (I am only selling this one unit)
This one has been tested in my Neill XVIIb. The other two prototypes that I made were tested by Subcommittee members, Steve Neill and Paul Strassner.
The V3 works flawlessly every time and gives a very precise ballast control.
The cylinder is made up of modular construction and will easily come apart for maintenance.
All R/C components have been installed including a synthesized receiver which makes this cylinder ready to go. The only thing that you will need is a 4 channel transmitter on 75 MHZ for control.
The 3.0-R was designed to power a hull in the 40-50” range.
    Here are the features:
    1 - Voltage, 6-7.4 volts
    2 - Motor/Gbox, 400 size Ball Bearing. With 5.28/1 gear ratio
    3 - Compressor pump, 6-volt 11-PSI maximum pressure
    4 - Servos, BMS-705 torque=83 oz/in
5 - SES-3-ballast control with MPD (Missing Pulse Detector) failsafe
    6 - Clippard-vent valve
    7 - Receiver- Polk’s Seeker-6 fully synthesized
    8 - ESC-Mtroniks Viper-15 with throttle fail safe
    9 - Length, 26”
    10 - Diameter, 3”main cylinder, front section is 2.75”
    11 - Weight, 3 lb 3 oz
    12 - Ballast lift, approximately 15 oz
The cylinder requires an external battery. Make sure you have room for the cylinder in your submarine as even though it is only 3” in diameter it is 26” long.
The one photo shows the cylinder sitting in the right half of my 1/32 DH Type-XXIII hull just to get a size comparison. (No Kielbasa you can’t have my DH-XXIII)

The cylinder comes with an operational CD manual.
    $550
