I made my own flags for my type IX and type II both 1/32nd scale, Just take an old white tee shirt, cut out a piece, stretch and pin it down, draw and paint your flag. I painted both sides red first, then went back and pianted in the details. Someone suggested me doing this, and it works fine. Jeff Jones regular model paints, it will hold up in the water.
