Brian- Squadron is OK by me...I spoke with the prior owner, (now manager) and I'm going to continue giving them my business...all is well!
They are also getting ready to release a new "subs in action" that strictly focused on the GATO...due out on 12/1/06. Stand by for that.
Jeff this is the Revell USA model, I really do not think the AG model is different at all.
Subs in Action, is that the Squadron book series Sam, have that and it is good stuff, I have the Old and New Plan Book, the Silversides, Cod, Bowfin, and more than 10 different sheet plans, aswell as US subs post and Sence 1945 books, great photos and details of the boats in action.
A bonus in the model box is a Mission Letter, and a code to unlock the Revell web page, The GATO store and special report from former Sailors on the subs, kinda neat! Real life experances.
Well I started drilling out the deck tonight, only did four 74 mm holes, still have 2 or 3 thousand to go
