DK type VII, Robbe XXI, 1/72 Gato hulls FS

I'm selling a few unfinished hulls/kits to raise some money to purchase an engel 1/35th Type VII. If there is no interest here they'll probably go on ebay soon, but I'd like to give other subcommittee bubble heads the first shot.

DK models 1/48 GRP Type VIIc U-boat kit with Jeff LaRue photo etch deck and conning tower deck. Very nice model in very nice size long out of production. I Did some work installing the photoetch but the model is mostly un-built, Comes with fittings, brass props, drawings, planes, rudders, conning tower. Split at water line. I purchased an Engel 750ml piston tank and control board for this model but never installed them. $550



Scale shipyard GRP 1/72 Gato hull kit. comes with fittings, guns, planes, full size plans and a floating drydock warships data special book. Over $300 new. This could be a great upgrade hull for the upcoming revell kit. $200

Robbe 1/40 type XXI, This is the big Robbe dynamic diving kit. Partly built including a couple minor goofs (DOH!!) comes with everything it came with new plus a bonus 1/72nd GRP Type XXI hull that I scratch built many years ago, A little rough (the small one) but could make for a nice model. The Robbe kit cost about $600 new, Nearly half price at $350.

Hello Brian. Thanks for your interest. I would rather not sell the Type VII without the Engel tank because then I will have no use for it. It would take some engineering but I think the piston tank in a 1/48th model would make a very nice running boat.

The 1/72 type XXI is based on the old combat models vacuum formed styrene kit. I made a GRP version of the hull. The glass work is a bit crude but I did finish one years ago (I regret selling that one) and it was a very nice running model. I made another hull and that's what I still have.
