I am wanting to build a Balao class USS Razorback. Yes, I am from Arkansas... WOOOOO PIG! In my long search for a sub named after Arkansas, this is the closest I will get.
I am greatful for any help on where I can get a good kit.
Don't know if you found what your looking for yet, but, check out http://www.scaleshipyard.com for the boat (you'll have to scratchbuild the deck and modify the conning tower) and try http://www.floatingdrydock.com for the plans. Floating Drydock has USS Pampanito plans, which was SS-384 in their TFW series, and USS Bang SS-385 in their G series (see website for details on their series). They'll probably recommend the Pampanito plans to you. The USS Razorback was SS-394 so it should be pretty close.
