    For Sale 32nd P Type VII U-boat

I don't know this fellow - so caveat emptor.

He found my website and asked that I pass this along]ycbjim@bowlingtech.com[/email]

    Please contact Jim directly.

Personally - I would recommend against this for a beginner. Better have a sub or two under your belt before tackling this one and a good sized work area. This builds a BIG model - around 8 + feet long I believe. You'll probably need to fit in a 4" WTC - either "home brew" RCABS or a Commercially available WTC. Gary Phillips - a guy who is in my local scale club, fitted a 4" custom SWM WTC with a couple of ungeared Dumas motors in his 32nd P hull and it works like a champ. Tim Smalley

    Tim,
    He posted this here

    Tim,
He posted this here around 02/01/05, he didn't have pictures then. Your warning still applies (caveat emptor).

        Chuck,

        The 32nd P Type VII

        Chuck,

The 32nd P Type VII hull had a order option whereby the bow was cut off in order to reduce overall length of the box....apparently to make a big reduction in shipping costs.

I think that you are seeing an "as delivered" kit, with to possible exception of cutting the hull at the waterline to allow access to the inside.

          Hi Folks,
          I just saw this

          Hi Folks,
I just saw this 32P Hull posting and had to 'add a reply'. I am a current SC member and have been dealing with Jim Willing (Yates Center, Kansas) for the past couple of months on another matter. For this reason, I would like to vouch 100% for Jim's integrity as he a very nice and reliable guy. Hope this helps any concerns anyone might have in dealing with Jim Willing. Contact him direct. All the best.
