Wanted: LA Class Sub W/ WTC - Wanted: Full running LA Class

I am looking for a working sub, 1/96 scale to go with my other surface warships. I am looking to add to my fleet. I have about $600 to spend on a sub, WTC, and everything to get it in the water.

Let me know if anyone has something to sell.

    Thanks

    $600.00 will not buy you

$600.00 will not buy you what you are looking for. Add about $3,000 to that and you will be close.

      $3600 seams a bit much

$3600 seams a bit much for any model kit. I saw a Seawolf 1/96 scale on here a while back for $1200 that was working. So there are subs out there.

I would entertain other offers from people selling ships, but I wanted to send out the PING that I am in the market.

Hmmm, that's still twice what you are looking to pay mind you!

If you were willing to go smaller, you could build up a trumpeter Seawolf, complete with cash to spare.

          I have a LA Class

I have a LA Class Flight III hull, painted, but nothing else. I just dont have the cash to get everything for it yet, so i figured that i would see if anyone was interested in selling theres no matter how bad, and i would convert it to mine.

Well then just add a D& E WTC and radio.

Should easily come in under $600

It's not that hard. Probably a weekends work would see you in the water.

              Better yet, grab a length

Better yet, grab a length of PVC pipe, and make your own.

I've built entire subs (yes, using some secondhand parts) for under $300, including radio and propel ballast system.

You can indeed drop thousands into a boat, and I have done so. My point is that you don't HAVE to.
