    Pricey, but not ridiculous. 8ch radios on low frequencies are hard to come by. Beggars. Choosers.

        I have retrofitted two futaba TY4F radios with the F14 twin stick modules. One, a 2.4ghz radio, it just dropped in, soldering the wires to the points where the original sticks connected. On the other, a 75mhz radio, it was a lot more complicated since the potentiometers had different resistance values. Wound up swapping in the pots from the original sticks, which involved making a set of bushings and holders since the pots had different dimensions and threads. Works great in both radios when done.
