    Looking for an 571 Nautilus

    Hi,
i am searching for a 571 Nautilus hull. I am not so familiar with the american market, are there any kits available? Size and scale is secondary.

    Best Regards

Brian Starke used to have one.... not sure if he's selling them any longer.

Depending on what size you want DeBoer Hulls has a BIG USS Nautilus hull available.
Bob Martin from Nautilus Drydocks said he'd be releasing a smaller scale version in the near future....try giving him a holler.

Wow, DeBoer is financially out of reach. Nautilus Drydocks has no Nautilus available. Thanks anyway

He used to be a member here. I know he used to live not far from me (Va Beach area, IIRC) as well.
I saw him at an IPMS show here in town in February, and we actually talked about the 571.
I honestly don’t know how he can be reached. I just checked my contacts and I don’t have anything on him.
            Sorry!

The SubRon8 gang is working on one now. Master is nearly complete then a mold will be pull for production of hulls. Don and Patti Osler are in charge of the project and would be the best to contact for updates.

I've got Matt's 571 Nautilus master patterns, but it will be a long time before I'll be able to do anything with them. They need to be finished up, the boat molded, prototype cast, instructions made and production finalized.

17b- As lhdockyard1 said above: The 571 Master is nearly complete then a mold will be pulled for production of hulls. When this happens we will
post on the Subcommittee site. Hopefully this will be happening soon.

Sounds like a lot of work. I will watch out for the good news when the production is ready.

                        Thanks!
