Hi Sam. I really haven’t started the Type VII yet other than seeing what was involved. I bought it as a starter kit from Bob Martin. Having more money than brains at the time, I also ordered the Arkmodel WTC for it. That was 2 months ago and I’m still waiting for Arkmodel to ship it.

I've had my hands own the Arkmodel Type VII. One of our SubComEast members, Erich Kloss, has one. I got to give it a good looking over during one of our Sub Build Days. Looks like a very well done hull kit and should be easy to drop a dive module into it. Having the plastic deck cast with all those deck slots already open is a real timesaver.

My only 'complaint' is that the rivets are still a bit oversized. But that can be dealt with quite easily if it bothers someone with a light sanding.

So Sam.....I think it's time for us to schedule a get together......
