Graupner Shark...Anyone have one for sale??

The title says it all...Ive been looking for a small, nimble unit for a while, such as this, not exclusively this.

Have a look at the R&R Aquabat. In production now instead of searching for a 20+ year old boat. http://www.rcsubs.co.uk/aquabat

I've just finished building one, frankly it's far nicer than the Shark.

There will be a build log / review in the March SCR.

There is one on ebay right now. bidding starts at 299 plus 20 to ship. Seems a little high for a starting bid.

The Aquabat looks pretty neat but I have to say it's no Graupner shark. Not as sleek looking and the performance looks no where near what a stock shark can do 20+ years old or not.

The Graupner shark will go even faster if you swap out the stock brushed motor and go brushless with an 11,1V lipo setup. I have one, they are speed demons even on the stock motor.
