Wanted: 1/96 scale Sturgeon or Permit

Hi All,
I was hoping to buy a 1/96 scale Sturgeon from Matt at Precision but unfortunately they won't be available for a few months. I don't want to get too much into the details but I am building this for my Father who served on the Flying Fish, a sturgeon class sub. He is getting pretty sick and I really want to get this built as soon as possible. I am considering buying a Skipjack, LA, or Virginia to use with the WTC until Matt's kits become available, but on the off chance anyone has either a Sturgeon or Permit available I would be very interested in purchasing it.

Hi All,
I have a sub! I would like to thank William, aka "SSBN659" for making his Thors Permit available. I am looking forward to working with my dad on this, and I'll be sure to post pictures of how it goes.

My apologies, Mike. The fall run of 25 kits sold out in just over a week and I am buried up to my eyeballs with work. As Bob Martin explained in his latest post, my full time job, like Bob, takes priority over the hobby businesses. If I had to rely on the hobby business for my income I would be eating spam out of a can and living in the alley dumpster.

Kits will be back in stock very late this December or early next year.

With that said, I am very happy that you were able to locate a kit for your father!

No reason to apologize, you have been very up front about everything, and I completely understand how busy you are. More importantly you got me in the right direction to get everything I needed to put this together. My dad is so excited about it, hes talking about showing it off at Army Navy. I still plan on getting a sturgeon whenever your kit becomes available. Thank you again!
