I joined the SC back in 2004ish but I've been dormant for since 2008 and I have a partially finished Ohio class SSBN that is just sitting around collecting dust.
I will admit I was one of those guys whos thoughts were beyond his skills. I wanted the firing missiles, sounds, video etc. (I did start and finish one of Skip Assay's Albacores though)
I got as far as building a boat that looked awesome in the water but lacked the money and skill to get her to submerge (more the lack of money lol).
So what do I have?
She's about 72" long, two piece fiberglass, WTC installed, ballast tank, ADC, APC, SubSafe, Motor, custom prob etc.
What I don't have in her; zero electronics minus two older servos and the motor.
I also had the brilliant idea to mount a bow thruster to aid in turning her.
I'm asking $800 plus shipping.
