I am selling my backup Multiplex Profi MC4000 transmitter.
I am literally buried in RC equipment and need room.
The MC 4000 is arguably the finest RC transmitter ever made.
They are very hard to find and highly collectable.
Most owners don't like to part with them.
I believe there are only two in the model submarine hobby and probably the model boat hobby as a whole.
Jeff LaRue and I.
They were not sold on 75 MHZ and we had them retuned at the Multiplex repair facility.
It took me at least a year to find my first one.
There is basically nothing the radio can't do with flexibility of setup.
It's basically a laptop computer. Lol
It does some mixing functions that even today's super pricy radios can't do I have been told.
Although it is not for everyone as the programming is different than any Asian radio.
Once learned it is much easier I think.
But all Multiplex radios are this way.
German built quality transmitter.
It was very expensive when new.
It was the radio the flyers of the day used to win many world championships.
It comes with a charger adapter, custom metal case, and a CD with all the manuals and tutorials.
It can also accept a 72 MHZ module, and a 2.4 MHZ module.
It has been converted to Lithium batteries, but that is just a plug in and nickel metal or nicads can be used still.
I have never used it since I bought it used two years ago except to test it out.
Just tested it today and it still works great.
I will post some photos and the catalog page from a Multiplex catalog that gives features.
I will try to answer any questions.
I am asking $375 plus shipping.
