What's more fun than a barrel of monkeys?
Running a Delphin. Lol
If you never saw a Delphin run they are a hoot!
Easy to set up and transport too.
I am selling my scratch built 1:12 Delphin sub.
Similar to the old MUS Kit.
It's a great running boat.
I have been running this sub for many years.
It is extremely fast and maneuverable.
It's a dry hull with an O-ring compression seal.
Tightening the nose cone pulls front and rear sections together against the seal.
I also run a secondary seal around the outside of the joint for insurance because of the high stress loads.
I will leave the motor, three servos, and ESC installed.
There is a Venom 500 sized brushed motor powering the sub.
Not a super powerful motor but the sub flys. Literally.
It can jump out of the water.
I will post an old video.
Only a receiver, and battery will be needed.
My Delphin is set up for 3 servo operation but can be run on two.
The three servos give you pitch and roll control.
I also have lights installed but never use them.
The wires would need to be reconnected.
(The snorkel has a flashing red, and the cockpit lights up)
It could maybe stand a new paint job but I think it gives the sub character.
I am building a new Delphin so I don't need two. That is why I am selling it.
The Delphins are a blast to run and really fun.
They keep your reflexes sharp. Lol
There is no ballast system as none is required.
Which makes them very safe to run being positively ballasted.
Unless you are not stuck on something you will pop back to the surface.
I will include spare O ring seals, and three different props.
The sub is ballasted for a standard HK LiPo battery.
(Zippy 4000 hard case Z40002S1P-30) Two cell.
And can fit a full sized receiver.
Any questions please email me.
I am asking $275 plus shipping.
