I have a pair of 6ch. 75Mhz FM surface radios, NOS, still in their factory boxes for sale. They have NEVER been used or powered up. They are the VEX robotic radio systems that when slightly modified, work Great for submarine use. A conversion article was posted here a long time ago as well.

I am asking $85.00 U.S Each plus Shipping from Canada. I would consider a package deal as well.

I am interested in a radio but what conversion is needed if they are 75 Mherz already.and does it come with the receiver thank you Mark

Hi Mark

By conversion I mean that you use a Dual Conversion 75Mhz FM TX crystal and solder it into the radio transmitter port where there crystal would plug into. You then buy a Futaba RDF127DF 75Mhz FM receiver and crystal of the same channel number as the TX crystal and you have a working radio set.

Crystals can be bought through ebay, same for the receiver OR both through Radio South there in the U.S. What I did to have extra receivers was buy 72Mhz versions of that receiver then send them to Radio South, they are a professional service center who can convert the receivers to 75Mhz at a GOOD PRICE.
