Thinking of selling i19

Hi there

I am thinking of selling my 1/48 i19 as I would like to have a sub to run for the summer and this one requires too much work and details to get it in the water in time.
So I would be selling the hull with about a quarter of the holes done, the tower with the windows cut out and the top openned, the dive planes and rudder.
Also included in the original builders plan in 1/96 scale (in japanese but I have everything translated); 6 fiberglass bulkheads (1/8" thick); 3' of fiberglass tubing (1" diameter); a 12V 7Amps gel-cel; 2 mabushi 550 12V engines; 2 gear-boxes with 1]thierryc@rogers.com or on MSN at]thierryc131@hotmail.com

Hi Bob

The hull is indeed

Hi Bob

The hull is indeed a scale shipyard hull, I was also going to build this one as I26 for the same reasons that you mentionned !
Great minds think alike !

Well... you know. Those Japanese

Well... you know. Those Japanese imports have so little headroom.

Would

ha ha ha
Would you actually believe that I bought my truck so that my typhoon and i19 would fit in there

People don't seem to realise how hard it is to find a vehicule where you can fit an 89" sub

Apparently I looked really funny at the dealership trying to fit a barehull typhoon in various cars and trucks

And Bob, be ready to invest in a Ford Explorer XLT
