Here's a very crisp picture of the new Chinese SSBN. Looks almost like a Russian Delta III design variant. All of those limber holes must make for some noise. Bet she's fun to control near the surface, too, with that upsloping turtleback.

Type 094 At last!!!

Fantastic!!!

I've been waiting years to see this boat!!! I'd been reading reports consistently for the last couple of years of this submarine but had never seen a single veriafiable picture of her. ( In between searching for elusive pictures of my favourite Xia class type 092.) She certainly looks like a conservative step forward. There seems very little outward departure from Xia. (Limber holes, Sailplanes closer tot he front of the sail). She looks like a great model to build. Would sit nicely in the Garage next to my Xia.

Overall looks quite neat...
