I know this an old thread but I only recently found this forum.

One of the first things I did was to search for references my home town, Barrow, and any of the subs built here. You can, probably, imagine my suprise when I saw some photos that looked familiar. In the post that included these shots was the line "Nice clear photos courtesy of Shipspotting !!". That explained it; they were some of the shots that I had posted!

I'm not complaining; I'm happy that someone likes my photos enough to want to share them.

As I scrolled further down the thread there was a shot of the bow section of Ambush on its transporter on Bridge Road. In the background I can see my house.

Hello David, the photos that are here ( and on SubPirates ) have only been linked to from the Shipspotting originals so they show on here ( the ones i've put up that is ) and not copied.
