Reported nuclear leak on US Sub

There was a broadcast on SKY news ( UK Satellte news channel ) at 1100hrs BST ( 1000hrs GMT ) reporting that there had been a detected leak of nuclear material from a US Submarine near to Tokyo. Not much more info but they didn't say anything about a reactor accident. Might just be Greenpeace making trouble against Nuclear power again or not. I'll post more info as and when I get any.

If anyone has any contacts in Japan can they see if this is running on local news??

    Well looks like its either

Well looks like its either SKY getting their wires crossed or the USN has sat on the story as there's been absolutely nothing else reported all day. Just that one 15 second report on the news this morning.

      I wouldnt worry to much

I wouldnt worry to much about that. There has been no incedent or anything to that severity. Its prob green peace angry that we blow coolant overboard. If something had happened we would have recieved a ZOZ message by now.
