subs in drydock - interesting closeups

I am a member of the Historic Naval Ships Association and they recently posted some interesting photos of museum subs on the web. The photos, part of a slide presentation given to submarine museum directors, are closeups showing damage that can occur over time.

I have been aboard the

I have been aboard the USS REQUIN based in Pittsburgh a few times,Didn`t know that she was in bad shape.It would be a shame to lose her.Interresting pictures though.

I can't believe the drum

I can't believe the drum is in such bad shape. I hate to see the bottom of the accompaning battleships.
