It was the one that
It was the one that wasn't Merriman's.
Seriously; his was the Alligator, mine was the 1859 prototype shown several times on the surface during the show.
I've given up on the "E-Ring". NBC has made it the usual politically correct horse manure that the networks always broadcast.

Tim,
As far as I'm concerned
Tim,
As far as I'm concerned you are both Stars! The show couldn't of happened without you two. Your model is just beautiful! Masterful job.
If it wasn't for you and Merriman who I discovered on the net and the great information and talent you both so graciously shared, I wouldn't have a clue here and my work would be sitting on the bottom and my pants wet!
Thanks for the great efforts and the success you have had with them. You inspire me very much.

Enjoyed both models!
But there
Enjoyed both models!
But there seemed to be gaps in the show. Like they had more but didn't show it.
For instance, Greg Sharpe's NAUTILUS is listed in the credits but I don't remember seeing Greg's model onscreen.
All I do remember seeing are several original woodcut illustrations from Verne's book.
That's usually an angle some channels pull when they want you to buy the show on DVD. But I did not see a commercial for it.
But maybe I had several senior moments while watching the tape.
