    hi guys,
    just wondering. I've been informed by a friend a mine about the launching of SSN-23 ?

    any news ? or link about this ?

      Nope...it's the USS Jimmy Carter.

      Nope...it's the USS Jimmy Carter. Last of the three Seawolf-class subs. It's the one modified for special ops work.

      The Virginia-class subs start their numbering with SSN-774 (USS Virginia herself)....essentially picking up where the LA-class numbering left off (USS Cheyenne, USS-773). The USS Texas is SSN-775.

        Yes, SSN-23 is the last

        Yes, SSN-23 is the last Seawolf Class subs, named after former US President, Jimmy Carter.
        It is said that her lenght has been increased by 10 meters (?)
        Maybe anyone have the news or pics when she is launched ?
