The Secretary of the Navy announced today that the next Virginia-class boat will be named USS Barb (SSN-804). He named a target too. Score one for tradition. Does this mean barb fish vote?

He's targeting women voters named Barb.
At the 2016 Sub Fest in Manitowoc, WI., one of the models I took was USS BARB (SSN 596). I've made transport boxes for most of my subs, and put them under the tables during the show. One woman had her friend take a picture of her sitting next to the box for USS BARB. The woman said that my sub was named after her.
