Have You Ever Heard of a ........

submarine that washed up on the shore, well come to think of it, a Japanese midget sub came on shore after the Pearl Harbor Attack in 1941. In fact one of the sailors was America's first POW in WWII.

    Biber or Seahund or ????

Interesting read, however.....I'm not aware that any of the German WW2 midget submarines would have had the range to make the trip from Europe to South America. Can anyone confirm if this would have been possible?

      Personal opinion.
The only way I see this happening is
one by traveling on the back of another ship or sub and then release closer to the destination.
two by drifting for days or months on the surface until it beached.

Is it possible to know by evidence that anyone actually survived or was in the boat at the time?

      Interesting...another mystery.

The Stock image used is VERY misleading. That's a known wreck in Scotland. It's a XT-Craft, the training version of an X-Craft. It's been there for many many years, not really a 'wash up'

Fascinating and has its own beauty however.
