We really should stop paying so much attention to Chinese "Sabre Rattling"... China will not risk its trade relation with Australia (or the USA) over this arms deal. They will posture a lot and make statements, but in the end they will acquiesce. China is seeing an unprecedented age of prosperity which they will not risk over old grudges. I find it most interesting that Japan has now reached a point in their contemporary history, where they are exporting arms. I've been aboard a Japanese destroyer, and can say, the are damn fine shipwrights. The Aussies would do well to buy the Japanese subs. -
