    Giving PAUSE to Iran

----------Maybe, maybe not, most nations would understand the hesitation to use nuclear weapons, as the use of them guarantees the death of the aggressor. But, in the case of Iran, it is very possible that the death of their own people will not detour them from using ANY type of weapon. But Israel is still wise to add more submarines to their Navy/inventory.

Israel has inaugurated its fifth Dolphin-class submarine, allegedly capable of launching cruise missiles with nuclear warheads. There is a sixth submarine

......agreed. Add the fact that we have now pledged our military support to defend Iran against an Israeli strike further increases the likelihood of war, in my opinion....

Israel would be wise to prepare for the inevitable as quickly as possible.

I don't know. Iran isn't what we'd call a stable or safe nation, but they do tend to do about as much saber rattling as North Korea. Israel on the other hand has proven that they don't really value allies and have proven that they'll attack at will any one and anything. If Israel wasn't an American pet project, we'd have leveled them during the six day war after the USS Liberty fiasco. It also doesn't help that the US periodically catches Israeli spies operating within our borders. Plus with everything that's happened over the last 14 years, I doubt anyone could sell us on going into another "conflict."
