Some speculation that it's actually WW1 Catfish (SOM) but details do not seem exact. Looks recent but features are not particularly modern - confusing as ever. At least this time we will know for sure in a few days when it's positively ID'd.

Yes what a farce. I find it very hard to believe that they didn't know that all along. The letter they showed as proof was part of the name plate. A PR exercise by a wreck finding outfit at the cost of national credibility. Putin's must be loving it.
