This article claims 2-3 weeks will be available in the near future. which got me to wondering, how long can an AIP sub stay under. Having asked that, it is very probable that this info is a military secret.
I read somewhere's that Japan is working on an AIP that will stay under for a month.. I guess, time will tell, and even then we might never know until an actual shooting war were to reveal it's capabilities.
