The title is controversial it seems but in light of all the "For Idiots" books out there I find that word much more insulting than the thing we all sit on. LOL!!

I have asked the gang at SubPirates what they think and the title stays.

This book can be very helpful and does not require you have the NASA lab to make a sub. Only your wit, some shop space, local hobby store and hardware store.

It's packed with CGI illustrations and photos spelling it all out for you even if you don't like to read. Imagine that?

I have built two hulls using Steve's method and both turned out great.
A chunk of blue foam, a good plan, a hot wire, and Steve's book and you can build any hull you want!!

I'm sure your book contains all the helpful advice you provided to me, only in a nice, easy to understand format with lots of CGI pics. If that's the case, it really is a "must have" for anyone attempting their first scratch build. Your book would have saved me hours of research on how to build a sub.

I look forward to getting my hands on a copy, good reference/reminders for my NEXT build.

The title likely reflects the mental state of anyone even wanting to spend the time and money to build one of these things, ....and not neccesarily their IQ in general.
