I have already moved out of my house, (which is what I was doing instead of being at the regatta,dang it!). My departure is too close to have books shipped to me for signing. Where I am going, mail is expensive and unreliable, But the local submarines are interesting.

I would have displayed the plans bigger.But I was limited to black and white (many were color) and no fold out avalible with this publisher.
I could do a sideways full page of plans. Maybe I will on the next one I do of different classes.
Right now, I am working on another closely related idea for another book. Stay tuned.

Wayne , my book came in the mail last night , Great book!! And because you did not sign it , guess what I did not get last night ! But seriously it is a must have , packed with revealing photos and info I never new about, that will make my AKULA II build from ScaleShips what I want her to look like !!! Just got a note from Amazon.com that the copy I ordered on Aug. 12 will not be shipped before early October. Looks as if the publisher did a very limited production run for the first printing. Lousy way for them to get a new book off to a good start!

Got mine last week ,

Got mine last week , ordered it thru Amazon.com and it came within 6 days. Quicker direct from the states to Scotland than from amazon's uk base to here !!!!!
