Question for Matt Thor

I heard, or read somewheres(can't remember if in the SCR or on this forum) that you intended to produce a 1/72 scale model of the USS NAUTILUS SSN-771 in July of 2014. I'm assuming that this model is intended for RC use. However, I was wondering if this project is still on schedule, and will you be willing to make a cheaper version for static only display??? Also Matt, do you have a ballpark figure as to how much this model will cost me when I buy one next year?

The project is still on schedule, thus far, for July 2014 release. Check back in early spring to see where we are at.

There is really no difference between a static version and the R/C version since the hull kit is simply just the hull, appendages, and the a associated detail parts. The kit is tentatively priced at $375.00.

A correction may be in order.
I am assuming just a typo.

SSN-771 is the USS Columbia 1995. The 60th Los Angeles class submarine.

SSN-571 is the USS Nautilus 1954. The 1st operational nuclear submarine.

Progress is at a stand still due to other work commitments. I'm not going to give any more release dates as I have a very hard time making any of them as crazy as my work is at this time. My apologies.

Matt, No problem, just let us know someday when it will be made. And yes, your right, I ment to put down SSN-571, not 771.
